Create a Thriving Arrowhead for Older Adults

BECOME A FUNDED PARTNER

Eligible applicants include public and private non-profit organizations and units of government interested in developing, continuing or expanding services for older adults and family caregivers. For-profit organizations are granted funds only after dispensation of a waiver from the Minnesota Board on Aging.

2020 is the first year of our three year renewable grant cycle. If you are interested in applying for a Title III grant, proposals are sought annually mid-year.

The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging awards grants and contracts to agencies for services that enrich the lives of older adults and their family caregivers.

As a state-designated Area Agency on Aging serving Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis counties, the AAAA is responsible for the development of a coordinated and comprehensive system of services for older adults and their family caregivers.

To help accomplish this goal, the AAAA awards Older American Act funding (authorized under Title III of the Act) to agencies and organizations that provide direct services for older people (age 60 +) and their caregivers.
