community assessment results

In the years following the COVID-19 pandemic, everyday life changed. The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging felt it was important to measure this change for St. Louis County residents. Utilizing grant funding from St. Louis County Public Health and the Administration for Community Living, Jessica Langer, AAAA Community Outreach Specialist, conducted quantitative research to assess current attitudes on:

• access to information and assistance

• barriers from accessing information and assistance

• access to transportation

• barriers to transportation

• access to healthcare

• barriers to healthcare

• physical & mental wellness

• respite care as a caregiver

• entering the workforce

• staying in the workforce
