ELDER ABUSE - How would I report the suspected maltreatment of a vulnerable adult?

The Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) is the statewide common entry point for accepting reports of suspected maltreatment of vulnerable adults.  Reports will be promptly submitted to the appropriate investigative agencies. 

The MAARC provides a toll-free number for the general public to call and make a report, 844-880-1574.

VOLUNTEER - I am interested in volunteering. Where do I start?

We are always seeking volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with the Senior LinkAge Line contact the volunteer coordinator. Volunteer positions available include: Health Insurance Counselor, Community Outreach Educator and Office Assistant. We request a minimum commitment of one year and a minimum of four hours per month. 

Are you interested in empowering others — and yourself — to improve health and confidence, while having fun leading a class right in your own community? Our Wellness Classes are looking for people like you to become class leaders who will educate, motivate, and inspire people to become their best selves. No experience? No worries! We will provide opportunities thorough class leader training in the program area you’re most interested in. 

The Advisory Committee on Aging needs representatives from all seven counties of the Arrowhead region. If you are interested in serving on our Advisory Committee on Aging, please contact us or complete an application for consideration.
