The Senior LinkAge Line is a free, statewide service of the Minnesota Board on Aging in partnership with Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging and Minnesota’s other area agencies on aging. The Senior LinkAge Line helps older Minnesotans and caregivers find answers and connect to the services and support they need.

The Senior LinkAge Line helps older Minnesotans and their caregivers find answers and connect to the services and support they need. We can help with Medicare, finding prescription drug cost assistance, forms and applications completion, long-term care counseling, finding resources in your community, caregiver support and much more. Come learn how the Senior LinkAge Line can help you and your family members.

Medicare can be complicated, and it seems to change from year to year.
Come learn about what’s new in Medicare for 2024, so you can choose the best plan for your needs. This presentation is offered in the fall of each year during Medicare Open Enrollment.

The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging is a direct provider of Information, Referral and Assistance through the Senior LinkAge Line. The services of Senior LinkAge Line are available over the phone. Call the Senior LinkAge Line at 800-333-2433, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Senior LinkAge Line Specialist provides the information and assistance counseling to support older adults successful aging in the Arrowhead!

The Senior LinkAge Line strives to provide accurate, comprehensive and timely information to help people plan well, live well and age well.  

The Senior LinkAge Line provides comprehensive Long Term Care Options Counseling services using current technology to provide the best service possible, with a high level of customer service and satisfaction as the number one priority.  

 

Staff and volunteers can help: 

  • People understand their rights and make informed decisions 

  • Make health insurance counseling services accessible to all people with Medicare, older adults, people with disabilities, people with prescription drug issues, people with end-stage renal disease and their family members and caregivers, and 

  • Provide information over the phone, in person and through outreach and education events. 

  • Find housing resources 

  • Find services for in the home 

  • Find caregiver support services 

  • Find or optimize your health insurance 

  • Save on prescriptions medications 

  • Evaluate and determine what services might be helpful for you to maintain your independence. 

 

Our staff can assist you in locating a provider, develop a plan for support in your community and they can also provide follow up in your home if you request it.  

The Senior LinkAge Line is a free, statewide service, staffed by licensed and trained health and human services professionals.   The Senior LinkAge Line helps older Minnesotans and caregivers find answers and connect to the services and support they need.
