ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON AGING

The Advisory Committee comprises of 15-19 members that make recommendations on policy and grants to the Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging on behalf of the ARDC board.

We are always in need of representatives from all counties of the Arrowhead region. If you are interested in serving on the Advisory Committee, please contact us or complete an application for consideration.

EDP

The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging, as part of the Eldercare Development Partnership (EDP), is seeking passionate individuals to join our Advisory Council. The Council will play a key role in expanding access to nature and strengthening local long-term care services for older populations in the Arrowhead region. By collaborating with both public and private organizations, as well as Long-Term Services and Support (LTSS) providers, the Council will help drive important systems change to improve the lives of older Minnesotans.

CHANGE MAKERS

Arrowhead Changemakers serve as ambassadors to make meaningful, lasting change that helps their community become a better place to grow up and grow old. Changes can be made in big or small ways. Central to our work is reframing the way we talk, think, feel and act about aging. We are recruiting local community members and leaders who have a passion for impacting decisions that enable people to age successfully in their communities and advocate for the needs and wants of older adults. We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and will seek representation from BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and disability communities.
