DESCRIPTION:Fraud and scams are on the rise\, with some scammers specifically targeting older adults. But there are ways you can protect yourself and your personal information. Preventing fraud & scams includes information about fraud prevention\, how you can detect and report fraud and scams\, so you can keep your personal information and yourself safe.This presentation includes information from the Senior Medicare Patrol\, a federal education and prevention program. \nWe are authorized to offer 1.5 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for your participation. Be sure to ask about this\, if you need the CEUs. \nThis class is offered online using the Microsoft Teams meeting platform. You must pre-register for the class\, the meeting link will be emailed to you soon after your registration. \nWe are committed to accessibility.
